I recently viewed a video of an animated presentation of a uterine biopsy on YouTube, and decided to post it here. It’s fairly short, and shows what instruments are used, and how the procedure is implemented. Noting the comments on YouTube, and commentary on forums; many women assert is can be quite painful. I do not write this to deter anyone; I just want women to be mentally “prepared” for a potentially painful test. D & C’s, however, generally involve the use of anesthesia. Another method in detection is a hysteroscopy. The American Cancer Society states on its website that a hysteroscopy is “the most accurate way of looking for cancer”. Typically, biopsies are the detection method most used, but the doctors will differ on what they elect according to the patients symptoms, unsatisfactory answers from other detection methods, or preference. In the long run, the threat of cancer may dictate the necessity of a uterine biopsy, or another testing procedure.
1 Peter 4:12-13
12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13) But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.-
